Our Dear earthly Father Joe
Whom we have come to know
As one that yearned to kindness show
In this life down here below
Yes, he would say that he failed often
But when truth prevailed, his heart did soften
As he seeked to fulfill his calling
It caused grief, Joy, and some rejoicing
At times he did not feel well
And his Spirit yearned to elsewhere dwell
But his flesh was earnest too
Till God intervened and separated the two
Now that his life has parted
The path for us looks so uncharted
But with his example in life "we can summarize"
And know that we can all be, "One in Christ"
