In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Daniel Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Tina and Dickie Troxell; as well as his aunts and uncles, Steve Grose, David and Anna Stivers, Pamela and Johnny Lefler, and Kevin and Bobbie Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Joyce Johnson.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Joseph was one of my dad good friends he would always help my dad and I looked at him as an older brother beucse he was ongly a few years older them me will be missed

I was Joseph's US History teacher his junior year at Woodford County. I loved being his teacher. He was really interested in US History and also helped kids who struggled in class. He was also so friendly. I will miss him.

I was an assistant principal at WCHS while Joseph was there. He was always friendly with me and proud of who he was. I always enjoyed talking with him. He was a good kid and will be missed.
