Joseph Kitchen Obituary
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill.
Born in Norfolk, VA, Joseph moved to Indian Land with his family when he was three years old. He was the son of Clyde Cornelius Kitchen and Beulah Adele Owensby Kitchen. Joseph was a graduate of Indian Land High School. He was an employee of Wikoff Ink where he worked as a lab technician, Joseph was very mechanically minded and could fix almost any type of engine. But, first and foremost, Joseph Kitchen was a good man.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Britton Kitchen; his children: Lisa Stanley of Landis N.C,, Joe Jr. (Amanda) of Lancaster S.C,, Scotty Kitchen of Indian Land, S.C., Jeffrey Kitchen of Indian Land S.C.; his sister, Judy Smith of Myrtle Beach S.C.; six grandchildren, Jasmine Kitchen, Jordan Kitchen, Jacob Kitchen, Surena Stanley, Remi Kitchen and Jace Kitchen; and his great-grandson, Zachary Stewart.
