Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home & Cremation ServiceJoseph A. Krouth, age 70 of Litchfield, MN died on August 2, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, August 15 at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation in Litchfield with prayers at 7:00 PM.
Joseph Arthur Krouth, the son of Dale and Joan Krouth Sr. was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 26, 1955. He was baptized in Philadelphia and confirmed at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Growing up, he lived in Pennsylvania, California, Atwater, Willmar, Olivia, Renville and Litchfield. He graduated from Renville High School in 1973. On July 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Catherine Anne Wagner in Litchfield, MN. He worked at Custom Products, Carlson Company, Gage Company and Koch Company. He was a member of the Church of St. Philip and the Sons of the American Legion.
He was a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader; and also a youth bowling and wrestling coach. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, relaxing at the camper and spending time with his fur baby grandchildren and his granddaughters.
Joseph is survived by his wife Catherine Krouth of Litchfield, MN; sons Tim (Becky Neu-Krouth) Krouth of St. Augusta, MN and Matt Krouth of Knoxville, TN; granddaughters Brooke and Olivia; and brothers and sisters Joanie Goetz of California, John (Marcia) Krouth of Kerkhoven, MN, Liz (Doug) Helget of Wood Lake, MN and Norman (Sharon) Krouth of Grove City, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dale Sr. and Joan; brother Dale Krouth Jr.; and sister Dolores Krouth.
