Joseph A. Kularski Jr.

EAST BROOKFIELD: Joseph A. Kularski, Jr., 77 died Sunday August 11th at his home surrounded with love. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Joseph A. & Shirley (Fedler) Kularski, Sr. He leaves two sons, Joseph A. Kularski, III and his wife Kim of Ansonia, CT., Chad A Kularski of Abington, VA., two brothers, Stanley Kularski of North Brookfield, Chris Kularski and his wife Anna of Boxboro, three sisters; Doris Johnson of Wilbraham, Carol Mulrain of North Brookfield, Debra Bissonette of Oxford, three grandchildren; Joseph IV, Terry and Ashley; his Uncle Louis Fedler and his wife Peg from Nebraska, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind Dee, who started as his PCA, but over time became a close friend. Aside from his parents, he is predeceased by his brother William Kularski, who passed away in 2014 and his sister Sandy Kady, who passed away in 2017.
While attending David Prouty High School, Joe enlisted in the Marines to serve his country during the Vietnam War which resulted in him being gifted a Quilt of Valor in 2021. He was the second Kularski of four generations that served their country. Following the military, he found a career as a tractor trailer truck driver until retirement. He and his Uncle Don were loyal supporters of the East Brookfield Senior Center, donating whatever was needed around the holidays. Joe elicited many smiles whenever he was at the center. He also enjoyed volunteering at Project New Hope in Worcester, working with their food bank.
Joe loved spending time with his beloved furry companions Oreo and Tina. He also enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and his Dunkin Donuts coffee.
The family would like to express their gratitude for both Overlook VNA and Laura's Guardian Angels of Spencer, specifically Jen, Taylor, and Linda for their care and compassion during Joe's final days.
Calling hours are Thursday, August 15th from 5-7pm. In the J HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A Memorial Mass will be held, Friday, August 23 at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church,
131 Blaine Ave., East Brookfield, burial with Military Honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's name may be made to either the East Brookfield Senior Center, 110 Pleasant St., East Brookfield, MA, 01515 or to a Veterans Organization of their choice.
