Joseph Lawrence Obituary

Joseph was a member of the United States Army, and after leaving the service, he became a Longshoreman and was a member of the ILA. Joseph was also a member of the South Norfolk Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 795.
Left to cherish Joseph's memory is his loving daughter, Tammy Lawrence and her husband Timothy Johnson; his stepson, Melvin Harrold; his brothers, Ronnie Lawrence, Norman Ingram, Jr. and Preston Ingram; his sisters, Ann Sykes (William),Teresa Gail Tatem (Ronnie) and Virginia Susan Keefe (Mark); his five grandchildren, Brittany Ashley, Timmy Johnson, Reannon Varney Matthew Harrold and Melvin Harrold, Jr.; seven great grandchildren, Lillie, Am, Emma, Allison, Christian, Landon and Kaleb; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joseph was predeceased by his brothers, David Lawrence, Bobby Hunter, Jimmy Lawrence, Carl Lawrence, and Jeffery Ingram; and his sisters, Mary Jo Anderson and Nancy Miles.
A service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Graham Funeral Home and Crematory 1112 Kempsville Road Chesapeake VA 23320 with Pastor Tracy Gregory officiating.
