Joseph Lindsey Obituary
Funeral services honoring the life of Joseph will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Interment will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Bobby Mihlhauset.
Joseph was born on August 18, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joseph E. Lindsey and Elsie M. Lindsey. Joseph graduated from Northwood High School. He worked his entire life, and in his free time he enjoyed his Harley motorcycle and hunting. Joseph loved spending time with his family and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Lindsey; along with his uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is survived by his mother, Elsie Lindsey; wife, Sue Lindsey; daughters, Lora LeJeune and family and Christy Thurman and family; son, Joseph Lindsey and family; four brothers; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Honoring Joseph as pallbearers will be Robert Kent, Garren Lindsey, T-Paul Lindsey, Cecil Pittman, Glenn Lindsey, and Wesley Lindsey. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Tony Lindsey.
