Joseph Mascaro, Jr., 78, of Jacksonville, AR, formerly Greenville, RI, passed away on August 2, 2025 in Little Rock, AR. He was the husband of the late Sharon M. (Hogan) Mascaro. They had been married for 42 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Alessandrini) Mascaro. He had lived in Greenville before moving to Jacksonville, AR. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War.
Joe was the owner of the former Mascaro and Sons Trucking Company and a retired member of Teamsters Local 251.
He leaves his sons, Joseph Mascaro, III of Smithfield, and Matthew Albert Mascaro of Rio Rancho, NM. He was the grandfather of Anthony Tristan Mascaro of Rio Rancho, NM. He was the brother of Marsha Lord of Cranston and Vincent Mascaro of Cranston. He also leaves many great friends in the Jacksonville community, especially Randy and Joyce Smith of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Joseph will be laid to rest with his wife at St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston, in a private ceremony with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
