Joseph McGuire Obituary
Joseph Thomas McGuire, III (JT), age 35, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL and was born on September 23, 1987 in Chattanooga, TN to his mother, Andrea Thomas, his father, Joseph McGuire, Jr. and his sister, Bryce Busch. He later lived in Lawrenceville GA, Orlando FL, Orange Park FL and Jacksonville FL.
He attended the Orlando Boone High School's finance program and Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Joseph found his career calling in the legal field and his faithful life in helping others. His favored leisure interests were video games, baseball, skateboarding, surfing, guitar playing and the Jaguars.
Joseph is survived by his mother Andrea Thomas, father Joseph McGuire, Jr. (Jill Chandler) and sister Bryce Busch who will miss him greatly; by his step-brothers Sam Stockbridge (Kalman) and Parker Stockbridge; brother-in-law Jason Busch; step-grandmother Beth Stockbridge; step-father, Garry Stockbridge (Michelle, Vondah); niece Riley Busch and nephew Maxwell Busch; Uncles Ralph Thomas and William Thomas; Aunts Leith Eaton, Janet Thomas, Bernadette Rivera (Henry), Mary Ann Borgman (Paul) and Ann Penson; cousins Bevan Barton (Alexander), Drew Eaton, Brooks Thomas, Mark Thomas, Paulie Borgman, Patrick Borgman, Ali Shropshire, and Jeffrey Penson; extended family Patric Busch, Lorraine Busch, Amy Busch, Erin Busch, Harper Hill, Reese Hill, John Hemingway (Kristina) and Kay Odenwald; his godfather Eddie Farah and his godmother Debbie Derbonne.
He is predeceased by his grandmothers Emily Reynolds Thomas Dale and Anna Gurski McGuire; and his grandfathers Ralph Lesley Thomas Sr. and Joseph Thomas McGuire Sr.; step-grandfather Douglas Stockbridge; and step-uncle Al Penson.
Thanks go to everyone who invited him into their lives.
A funeral service for Joseph will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 2609 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204.

I was deeply saddened when I learned the news that Joseph, JT had been called home at such a young, tender age. JT never neglected sharing his spirituality and love for those less fortunate fellows we encountered along our walk in this life with Jesus.
I was especially impressed by his outpouring, outreach, caring and his witness, outgoing and dedicating his time to share a bite with and feeding others from God´s word as a Hopedealer. JT is home now with our great Benefactor Jesus Christ, and our Father in heaven. I am sure he is seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father, no more pain; God welcomes His grateful faithful servant
Well done, brother. To the Choirmaster with joy, JT; til we meet again.
