Joseph McKeown Obituary
96, of Castle Shannon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Teresa E. (Dabecco) McKeown, his wife of 63 years; son of the late John and Catherine (Hunt) McKeown: caring father of Richard (Nancy) McKeown, Joseph (Vicki Rapp) McKeown, Joan (Fred) Gumina, and Jean (Kevin) Zenkevich; proud grandfather of Brian (Lyndsay) McKeown, Jessalyn McKeown, Michael McKeown, Kathryn McKeown, Angela (Kevin) Murphy, Nicole Gumina, Natalie (John) Meharey, Andrea Gumina and Rachel Zenkevich; and great grandfather of Killian McKeown, Cullen McKeown, Brooklyn Murphy, Jordyn Murphy, Ryan Murphy, and Myles Meharey.
Joe proudly served as a corporal in the U.S. Army 151st Combat Engineers during the Korean War repairing aircraft. Following his service, he worked his entire career as an automotive machinist.

Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday August 6, 10 AM, St. Winifred Church, St. Paul of the Cross Parish, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15228. Everyone please meet at church.
