TRENTON – Jospeh Messina, 53, died on Sunday, September 21st in Capital Health at Fuld from complications to a stroke.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Son of the late Joseph F. and Anna M. (Franks) Messina, he is predeceased by his brother Carmen Messina, his sister Mary (Messina) Callahan Elmer. And most recently, his oldest sister, Debra (Messina) Gregory, who passed away on the same day, in a different hospital.
Joseph was the youngest of eight siblings and is survived by four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Dora (Messina) & Eric Hannawacker, Darlene (Messina) & Edward Krisak, Margaret (Messina) & John Straccio and Jo Ann (Messina) & Gregory Embly. He is also survived by two aunts, Marie Moceri and Frances Severino; one uncle, John Tammelleo and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, a longtime girlfriend Mary Lou Zeleznock, with whom he lived.
