Joseph Wade Miller, 64, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Born on December 6, 1959, Joseph, affectionately known by those close to him as Joe, dedicated over 25 years of his career as a Controller at Precision Valley Communications. Joe graduated from Franklin Pierce College, which laid the groundwork for his successful career. His commitment to his profession was paralleled by his unwavering dedication to his family, which was always his main priority and the source of his greatest joy.
Joe was a man of many interests who brought joy and relaxation to his life. He was an avid golfer, often found on the greens whenever he had the chance. His passion for yoga and meditation provided him a sense of peace and balance, which he embraced wholeheartedly. Additionally, Joe enjoyed walking his three little dogs, Winston, Oliver, and Zara, relaxing at the lake, and boating. He was always keen to explore new restaurants and enjoyed various sports. Above all, spending time with his family was his greatest pleasure.
Joe and Michele's love for each other was special. They found each other later in life and cherished many memorable moments over the years. He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Alafat; children, Christopher Miller, Larissa Manning (Zack), Mickey Martin, Katelyn Martin, and Mary Martin; and his grandchildren, Myles, Cole, and Margo, whom he adored and cherished, father, Joseph Miller and Joanne (Neil) Lavin. His family remembers him as a kind and generous man who gave so much joy to everyone who met him; his warm nature made him a beloved figure among friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Miller, brother Eddie Miller, and sister, Helen Miller.
Joseph Wade Miller's life was marked by his warm kindness, hardworking nature, and deep love for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Bishop Brady High School’s chapel, 25 Columbus Avenue, Concord, NH, on Saturday, October 19, from 1 to 3 p.m.
