Joseph M. "Joe" Miller

Joseph M. Miller, 66, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, after an ongoing battle with COPD.

Born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, Joe was the son of the late Wanda L. (Osbourne) Miller and Joseph F. Miller.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Miller; his wife, Mary Miller; and his brother, Barry Miller, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Zachary Miller.

Joe retired from the Milton Hershey School, where he worked as a farmer and took pride in contributing to the AEE (Agricultural and Environmental Education) program. His work and dedication left a lasting impact on the students and community he served.

In his free time, Joe enjoyed bowling, hunting, golfing, and racing-both dirt track and NASCAR-as well as watching football and hockey. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, work contributions, and the memories he made with family and friends.

In accordance with Joe's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., at the Linglestown American Legion post 272, 505 N. Mountain Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of Joe.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to animal conservation and wildlife protection organizations in Joe's memory.
