Joseph J. Morey, Jr., age 86 of Taunton, passed away at Morton Hospital on November 12, 2025.
He was the husband of Barbara (Demoura) Morey.
Born in Brockton, MA Joseph was the son of the late Joseph Sr., and Emma Morey.
He was a graduate of Brockton High School.
Before retiring, he was employed as a technician for New England Telephone Company for many years. Joseph enjoyed visiting Cape Cod with Barbara, photography, watching TV especially Westerns and spending time with his family.
Besides his beloved wife Barbara of over 53 years, he is survived by his children; Joseph Morey III, Tanya Silvia and her husband Paul, grandchildren; Joseph Morey IV, Shaye Silvia, Liam Silvia, great grandchild Chase Herron, brothers; Richard Morey and wife Barbara, William Morey and sister Kathleen Homes.
Burial will be held privately.
Arrangements are with Silva Funeral Home.
