Arthur Yannone, 85, a resident of Brockton, Massachusetts passed away peacefully and dignified on November 11, 2025, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
Born on June 22, 1940 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Arthur Yannone, Sr. and Sally (Watson) Yannone.
He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Carol Yannone; his sisters Norma and Jerilyn and brother Kenny. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Jeanine Yannone and her husband Cole; his sons, Daniel Conrad and his wife Liz, Brian Sangeleer and his wife Sharon, and Raymond "Chip" Yannone and his wife Bobbie-Jo. He leaves behind nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, each a source of immense pride and joy. Arthur is also survived by his sisters Mary, Phylis, and Teri and his brother Tommy, who will carry forward his memory with love.
Arthur attended Brockton High School and built a rich life filled with passion, adventura and love for his family. He is an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
As a young man he worked for Bell Telephone. At 31 years old, he purchased the Hotel Bryant, which was later renamed the ElmCourt Hotel, earning him recognition for his sharp business acumen.
A proud patriot, Arthur lived with a spirit of freedom and enthusiasm. He was an avid golfer and skilled billiards player, a licensed airplane pilot and a motorcycle enthusiast. Music filled his heart when he played the guitar. In his later years, few things brought him greater simple pleasure than a jelly donut shared by loved ones.
A man of stubbornness, strength, humor, and unwavering family loyalty, Arthur Yannone leaves a legacy of adventure, patriotism, and deep family bonds.
A son, brother, husband, father, grampa and trusted friend. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12:00PM. Private cremation will follow.
