Obituary of Joseph Alan Newt
Joseph Alan Newt, a generous and caring soul, unexpectedly passed away May 23, 2022. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa on February 25, 1966, to Eldon and Janet Newt. His family moved to Colorado where Joe graduated TVHS in 1984. Joe earned a degree in Political Science, Aviation and Meteorology advancing with his pilot's license. He pursued a Real Estate career in Loveland, Colorado for many years.
Joe had many interests. Some of his favorites were flying, boating, watersports, fishing, cooking and riding his motorcycle. He loved gathering people together to play cards. Texas Hold'em was one of many and his real joy was playing Farkel with his mom. He was always the life of any party!
He is preceded in death by his mother and his brother. He is survived by his father Eldon Newt, brother's; Brian and Tony, sister's; Debbie, Lynn, Valerie, many nieces and nephews and a good friend Sherry Matz.
Taken too soon, but WHAT HECK OF A RIDE HE HAD!
Thank you for your heartfelt condolences! A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Joe, We shared so many laughs during work. I'm so heartbroken to hear that you passed away. I still carry the sweet card you wrote me when I left for AmeriCorps. I will cherish that even more now. I wish your family and closer friends all the comfort they need. Take care up there
