Joseph Curry Pritchett Jr. was born November 30, 1986 to Rosetta Diane Johnson at John's Hopkins Hospital. Joseph Gained his wings on August 7, 2025 after a lengthy battle with heart failure. Joseph was affectionately known as "Boox" by his family and friends.
Boox was a graduate of Baltimore City Public School; System. He worked as lead security officer for assured Security Services until re was rushed to the hospital for complications with his heart in May. Boox loved spending time with his family. He really enjoyed going Karaoke with his cousins. Boox was an excellent chef, spending time watching cooking shows and calling his mother at work to stop at the store and pick up the ingredients he needed for a new recipe he wanted to try out.
Boox never had any children of his own but he was primary babysitter to all of his younger cousins. He was always called upon to be the themed characters at all the childrens birthday parties. Whenever there was a cookout at his home, he didn't want anyone to "touch his grill." Before his passing he was surrounded by his mother and family everyday until he took his last breath.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother Diane Johnson, two sisters Shauntae Hardy and Toy Johnson: two nephews Xavier and Kaiden: seven great nieces and nephews: five aunts and uncles: Joyce, Theodore, Robert, Stacey and Wanda, a special friend Casey and a host of other relatives and friends.
