Joseph William Quintina, Jr., 52, of Franklin, passed away suddenly on November 6, 2025.
Born on February 15, 1973, in Norwood, Joseph spent his early years in Franklin before moving to Medfield, where he attended Medfield High School and graduated in 1991.
He returned to Franklin to raise a family with his wife of 32 years, Tammie (Bradley) Quintina. Together, they were the proud parents of four sons: James, Marcus, Anthony, and Nicholas.
Joseph was the beloved son of the late Joseph W. Quintina, Sr., and Patricia (Paturzo) Cook, and his late stepfather Stephen W. Cook.
Joseph pursued multiple career paths. Founder/Operator of Platinum Sound in Bellingham for over 10 years, where his interest in computers led him to achieve various degrees in Computer Science. He later changed careers and with his hard work and dedication over 20 years earned him the position of Vice President of aNetworks, Inc. in Norwell, MA.
Joseph was born in Franklin, raised in Medfield during his high school years, and returned to his roots in Franklin to raise his family. He had a deep passion for sports, particularly football, which led him to coach his sons in Pop Warner football throughout their elementary years and later supported them throughout their high school and college experience. Joe and Tammie never missed a game and loved every moment cheering them on.
HIs humor was enjoyed by all and his stories were very entertaining. Joseph was known for being a movie connoisseur, a sports fanatic, an animal lover, a car enthusiast and a tech nerd. His children appreciated his views of attacking each venture with 110% dedication, which strengthened their characters.
In addition to his wife and sons, Joseph is survived by his siblings, Katie Ntasios and her husband Arthur of Medfield, and Michael Quintina and his wife Erin of Norfolk, as well as his nieces, nephew, other relatives and many friends.
A service will be held on Thursday, November 13, at Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street, Franklin, from 4–7 p.m.
