Joseph Coy Randolph, Sr was born on October 28, 1950 in Winterville, NC to the late Joseph Ceaser and Josie Mae Randolph. He departed his earthly life on April 8, 2023.
Joseph was a graduate of HB Suggs and went on to serve in the US Army from 1971-1984 (13 years) doing a tour of duty in Vietnam.
Joseph was married to Geraldine Saddler Randolph for forty-six. He was a dedicated family man that took 100% great care of his family.
Joseph loved ole school music Johnny Taylor, Sam Cooke, and many, many more. His favorite was Al Green "Straighten Out Your Life in Jesus Name." He loved sports, Golden State Warriors was his favorite basketball team, Seattle Seahawks was his favorite football team. Joseph was also known to support any team that have a black coach and black quarter back.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Randolph; son, Joseph Randolph, Jr; granddaughter, Nevaeh Randolph; his parents, Joseph and Josie Randolph; sister, Rosa Johnson; brothers, Coleman, Thomas and Joseph Collins Randolph.
Joseph leaves to cherish his precious memories, his three daughters, Diantha (Lowell), Regina (Sedrick) and Anna Randolph all of Greenville, NC; granddaughter, Sedria Nelson (Jhari) of Greenville, NC; grandsons, Nyquan Nelson, Cortez Tyler both of Greenville, NC; sisters, Linda Murphy and Mary Wooten both of Greenville, NC; brothers-in-law, Floyd Saddler (Barbara) of
Washington, DC; great-grandkids, Kyzir and Harmon Henderson; a host of nieces, nephews whom all was very special to him, other relatives and close friends.
