Joseph John Roberts

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Joseph (Joe) Roberts. He departed this life on December 7, 2025, at the age of 72.

Joe was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Bob and Bertha Roberts. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob, and sister, Betty.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 44 years, Anne Marie, and his children Robbie, Ryan, Katelyn, and Meghan. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Ashley, son-in-law Brandon, and the grandchildren who brought him endless pride and joy: Emma, Annalyn, Brody, Joey, and Lucas, along with his soon-to-arrive granddaughters Amelia and Olivia.

Joe lived a life defined by service, dedication, and heart. He proudly served in the United States Navy, the New York City Police Department, and the Port Authority Police of New York, before relocating to Texas. In May 1987, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by establishing his company, United Automation, which he built with hard work, integrity, and an unwavering devotion to his customers.

Known for his remarkable ability to make friends with anyone and everyone, Joe never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold and never hesitated to help others-whether through an open house, a warm meal, or simply showing up when he was needed most.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures: cooking, fishing, baking, music, camping, movies, and spending time in his well-loved garage. Joe especially cherished the time he spent playing with and caring for his loyal Labradors, whose companionship brought him comfort, laughter, and endless happiness. His happiest memories were made during the holidays with his family, and the summers he spent in Roxbury, New York, a special beach community where he formed lifelong friendships.

Joe's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched-through his kindness, generosity, humor, and unwavering love for his family. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
