Joseph S. ( Romo) Romasiewicz, Jr., 68, of West Pittston, passed away on December 12, 2025 at his home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bernadine Pienta Romasiewicz.

Joseph was a 1974 graduate of Wyoming Area School District and had worked for the Insalaco Grocery stores and at HJ Deleo Painting for 13 years.

Romo as he was known by his friends and family was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert in 2005 .

Surviving are his daughter Marla and her husband Dennis Vest, Ft. Myers, Florida and a son Joseph and his wife Allison , Minnesota, Joseph's former wife Patrice (Murphy) Romasiewicz. Also surviving are his brother David Romasiewicz, Pittston and sisters, Mary and her husband Michael McCabe, West Pittston, Ann and her husband Mark Badyrka, West Pittston, Ruth and her husband Donato Nole, Bloomsburg, Judy and her husband William Buckman, Plains.

Grandchildren Skylar, Brielle, Kason Romasiewicz, and Maizy and Laynie Vest; 2 step grandchildren, Emmy and Vinny Linehan, along with several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

A memorial mass will be held on December 30th, 2025 at 11am at Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave. West Pittston.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 10am until time of Mass.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Those attending the service are asked to wear Romo's favorite Green Bay Packers colors of green and yellow.

Donations, if desired, may be made to St. Jude's or to the Corpus Christi Parish Care and Concern Committee.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
