Joseph Rusnak Obituary
He and his wife Dorothy owned and operated Portage Path Cleaners from 1973 to 1990. She passed away January 25, 2015, approaching their 65th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Gail Eglet (William, deceased), Rose (John) Bates, and Kathy (Richard) Miller; 5 grandchildren, Bill (Amy) Eglet, Carolyn (Matthew) Goettke, Jim Eglet, John Bates (Carissa Chiu, loving partner), and Kasey (Codey) Semrau; 3 great-grandchildren, Joseph Goettke, Madeline Goettke, and William Eglet.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Rusnak, and sisters Ann Sanders and Nadine Pallai. He is leaving behind a sister, Mary Jane Puskas, and a brother, Walter Rusnak. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, and very dear friends in Ohio and Florida.
Joseph had a long, healthy, and happy life. He and his wife both loved being surrounded by family, and enjoyed wintering in Florida for 27 years.
When in Ohio during the summer, they vacationed at 2 locations with immediate family. Many fun times and memories were made.
A gathering of family will take place at a later date.
Should friends or family desire, memorials may be made to a Hospice of their choice.

To the Rusnak Family, The universe works in mysterious ways... Joe has been on my mind for the past several weeks and it prompted me to look for him and unfortunately I found his obituary. My parents, John and Alice Ziemke along with Jack and Doris Williams, were very good friends with Joe and Dorothy at IBE. The 6 of them were a tight group and shared many fun and memorial times together. When my parents were failing physically, Joe would come over almost every day to take out their garbage. We always made it a point to visit with Joe and Dorothy when we were in IBE. My wife and I have started to winter at IBE and think of them every time we ride by their house. Know that it is well loved by the current owner. If it is okay with you, I can put a notice in the IBE Facebook page of his passing and request his name be added to the memorial wall. Dorothy's name is there already. Joe had a good run and now can rest. I am sure he is happy to be back with his beloved Dorothy. The 6 friends are sharing a meal and some laughs too. Sending our condolences to you all.
