Joe was a friend and mentor to many of us. Knowing Joe for over 30 years, I knew him as a man of faith, a no nonsense tell you like it is kind of guy. Those who knew him loved him and will miss the old cop who meant so much to us. I'll catch up with my old friend one day. Rest in peace my friend.

The Lord enriched us when He brought Joe and Jo Ann into our lives in the early 70s. Joe and Paul used to meet three mornings a week before work to play handball and racquetball and then talk about Jesus and life in the sauna. Joe was a lifelong friend who stayed in touch after the Lord moved us across America to Oregon, eventually to Uganda, and finally to East Texas. While missed we look forward to seeing Joseph in Heaven.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Know he loved all of you. Know that he is not suffering or in pain anymore. He is in heaven with his mom, my mom and his aunt having a good time. Big hugs across the miles and sorry I am not able to attend.
