Joseph Paul Sauthoff

Joseph Paul Sauthoff of Middle River, MD passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 82. He graduated from Parkville High School. Joe was an avid member of the United Boy's Brigade of America. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Rosedale American Legion Post 180, of which he was a past commander.

Joe was a draftsman at various companies in the Baltimore area before retiring as a co-owner of Delta School of Welding and Engineering.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carolyn (Clipper) Sauthoff, brother George (Jeanne), nephews Stephen (Cindy), Robert (Debbie), Billy Clipper (Julie), Robert Clipper (Kristen), and niece Janet Bricko (Damian) and many great-nieces and nephews, and his pug-beagle Max.

He was predeceased by his parents George and Anne (nee Kaufmann), brother Ted (Barbara), nephew David and brother-in-law Bill Clipper (Karen).

The family will receive friends at the Evans Life Celebration Home- Parkville, 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234 on Wednesday September 18, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery Parkville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
