Joseph Fisher Setzer, Jr., 83, of Maggie Valley passed away on May 6, 2025 at his home.
A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Joseph Fisher Setzer and Clara Jane Dyer Setzer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Marion Turner and Helen Hall; and niece, Jolene Hall.
He was a member of Maggie First Baptist Church.
Left to cherish Joseph's memory are his children, Tina Noland (Michael), Shannon Horne (Jerry), and Joseph Fisher Setzer, III.; sister, Lynn Setzer (Johnny Carpenter, Jr.); grandchildren, Jacob Shelton (Brittany), Colby Shelton (Audi), Tyler Bradley, Brittany Bradley, and Lisa Jones (Shane); great grandchildren, Everett Shelton, Gabrial Jones, and Whitleigh Jones; niece, Elizabeth Turner; nephew, Frank Turner; along with extended family and friends.

Very sorry to hear about the death of my cousin, Joe Jr. (Junior) my best memories are the ones I shared living with my aunt and uncle ( Joe St and Jay). Many prayers and love to the family. May god bless you in all future things
