Roseanne, Aislinn, and the entire Sharkey family, my sincere condolences on the passing of a good man and a friend. Being a lifelong Red Sox fan, Joe and I had quite a bit of fun jagging each other at many Men´s Club meetings (all in good fun). But my all time favorite memory of Joe was the time I showed up at a Men´s Club meeting wearing a Miami Redskin denim shirt. Joe was extremely passionate about the fact that the university had changed the logo to the Redhawks and always said that my shirt had the correct logo. Joe, may you rest in peace and keep cheering on those Yanks from up above.

My condolences to Rosanne, Aislinn and the rest of the Sharkey family. I first met Joe approximately 25 years ago when Aislinn and my oldest daughter went to see the Easter bunny in Hudson. Since then, Joe and I had many long conversations about sports, politics, family, and life in general, that I always enjoyed. I was glad to see that the Yankees logo was included in the obituary because I do know that Joe loved the Yankees and he'll be doing everything he can from above to help them win the World Series. But I also knew that he rooted for the Guardians (Indians) when the Yankees were not the opposition, so Joe, if it isn't going to be the Yankees this year, throw some love to the Guards (Indians)!
