Joseph Sharp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Null & Son Funeral Home on Jan. 11, 2025.
Joseph Learoy Sharp, of Republic, WA, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the age of 69.
Joseph was born on April 5, 1955 to Everett and Dorothy Mae (Smith) Sharp.
He was preceded in death by one niece Chelsea Mae Wyss and one great nephew Gavin Sharp.
Joseph, a man of deep faith and passion for the outdoors, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love for life and nature. He found joy in beadwork, creating intricate designs that reflected his creative spirit. A devoted reader, Joseph found strength and comfort in the Bible, often turning to its wisdom for guidance. His love for the outdoors was evident in his frequent target shooting, fishing, and hunting, where he relished the beauty and serenity of Washington's mountains. Joseph cherished the peace and solitude of nature, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joseph will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes: his parents, Everett and Dorothy Sharp of Dixon, MO; one son, Joseph David Ferguson of Garden City, MO; one daughter, Melissa Sharp of Holts Summit, MO; three brothers, Randel Sharp and wife Cindy of Dixon, MO, Samuel Sharp of Dixon, MO, James Sharp and wife Wanda Jo of Dixon, MO; one sister, Cindy Wyss and husband Marshal of Dixon, MO; and two grandsons, Tyler Ferguson and Dylan Ferguson.
Joseph's wishes were to be cremated and the family will be having a family gathering at a later date.

I was his neighbor. He helped us out a lot. He used to target shoot with my 7 year old son. He really looked forward to going to Learoys to target practice. Learoy will be missed fearing from my family. But he will not be forgotten! When my family of 3 moved up. I can´t believe he didn´t think we would last the first winter up here. But we have and strive for more years! We enjoy this mountain just as much as he did. He will forever live up here.
