Joseph D Skelly

Joseph D. Skelly, age 60, of Bolton Landing, NY unexpectedly passed into eternal rest on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Griffin Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Derby, CT on August 17, 1962 loving son of the late Edward Skelly, and Carolyn Darkey Skelly Wyman. Joe graduated from Derby High School in 1980. He then proudly served his beloved country in the United States Airforce and he was a true patriot until the day that he died.
He spent the entirety of his career devoted to the fencing industry as a site manager and he was always a loyal and hard working employee, a role model to all.
In his spare time, Joe loved to hunt, fish, and spend time camping and boating on Lake George. He was the life of every party, always singing or rapping one of his original songs and the party wasn t complete until Joe sang his favorite Toby Keith song Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue Joe cherished the times he spent with his three boys. His sons were the heart and soul of his life along with his girlfriend and their, dog Ella.
He is survived by his three sons- Brian Skelly, Daniel Skelly, Derek Skelly and Stepdaughter Jaime DeCiucis. Joe will be truly missed by his beloved girlfriend Suzanne Leszczynski-Zelinski, and former spouse Gina Skelly, his brother Jeff Skelly ( Joan), sister Jeanne Bourn (Marvin) his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Lindley, Cameron and McKinley Bourn, Shawn Skelly, Justin and Ryan Skelly, Thomas and John Marino, Ryan and Taylor Searles
and Joseph Paoletti. Joe was predeceased by his brother, James (Jay )Skelly and his stepdaughter Jolene DeCiucis.
Friends may greet his family on Saturday August 27, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Edward F Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. His funeral service with full military honors will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.adzimafh.com.
