Mr. Soignier, 88, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Joe was a hard worker and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Soignier; an infant son; his parents, Willie and Eunice Soignier; one brother, Buck Soignier; two sisters, Vivian MacDonald and Sue Kennedy; and one grandson, Shane Soignier.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sons, Michael Soignier (Mandy) of Holly Beach, and Robert Soignier (Angela) of Temple, Texas; two daughters, Brenda Warner (John) of Sparks, Nevada, and Theresa Turner (Greg) of West Monroe; three stepdaughters, Rhonda Andrews (Mark) of Marion, Donna Regan of Egan, and Jaime Johnson (Patrick) of Oakdale; one brother, Butch Soignier of West Monroe; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
