Joseph Edward "Joe" Spooner, 54, of McHenry, MS, passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Joe, as he was lovingly known, was born on July 23, 1970, in Gulfport, MS, to his parents, Kenneth and Mildred (Belton) Spooner. Joe was the most kind-hearted and loving person you could ever meet. He was more than a brother; he was a Best Friend! Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mildred Spooner, and one niece, Tiffany Ladner. Left to cherish his legacy, his sister, Connie (Henry) Sumrall of Wiggins, and his brother, Donnie (Crystal) Spooner of McHenry. Although Joe never had any children, he did have nieces and nephews, whom he loved and treated as his own. He leaves a legacy of three nieces, Krystal Shaw, Amber Ramon-Williams, and Aiyana Spooner; four nephews, Wade Ladner, Bailey Spooner, Owen Spooner, and Jamie Spooner; three bonus-children, Dorian, Phillip, and Stephanie; as well as seven great-nieces and nephews, and one on the way, that he loved immensely and they loved him the same. Services for Joe will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, beginning at 1:30 pm for a Visitation, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. The family would ask that you join them to celebrate Joe's life at his brother Donnie's home, directly following the services at Trinity. Joe's wishes were to be cremated, which his family will be honoring after his services on Friday. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Spooner family during this time and would ask that you remember them over the difficult days ahead.
