Joseph William TerLouw III

Joseph (Joe) William TerLouw III died June 12, 2023 at the age of 62. Joe was the oldest of three boys, born April 8, 1961 in Eugene, OR to parents Joseph (dec'd) and Ruth (Anderson) TerLouw. Joe moved to Buckley, WA in 1969 with his family. Joe first worked as a milker at local dairies in the Buckley area. He then got a job in the newspaper industry as a pressman working for Robinson Newspapers, Everett Herald, Kitsap Sun and others. Joe finished his pressman career at the Kitsap Sun in 2012 and began his owner/operator taxi service called Jess Express Taxi in the Bremerton area where he lived. Joe loved his taxi business as it gave him the opportunity to converse with anybody sitting in the cab with him. Joe was an avid hunter/fisherman and loved taking people on his boat fishing and/or sightseeing. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe and brother, Erick and is survived by his mother, Ruth; brother, Matt (Terri); nephews, Brandon and Tyler; aunts, cousins and friends. A private celebration of life is planned for a later date at the Washington coast where Joe loved to spend time and drive his Jeep along the beach.
