Joseph (Joey) Toth 69 passed away May 24, 2024 in Portland Maine with his loved ones by his side.
Born August 13, 1954 to parents Mary A. Sarama and Michael S. Toth in Portsmouth New Hampshire.
Joey grew up in Topsham attending Topsham schools.
He married the love of his life Jacquelin A. Colby January 31, 1977 and in doing so inheriting 3 daughters.
Joey was a lifelong clamdigger which he enjoyed until his health forced him into early retirement.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Ryan and going out to eat. He was an avid sports fan watching the Red Sox, New England Patriots and car racing with his dog Cordell by his side.
He was a member of the Corey Edwin Garver American Legion Post 202 in Topsham for over 30 years dedicating and volunteering his time helping Veterans.
Joey was predeceased by his loving wife Jacquelin A. Toth, parents Mary and Mike Toth and daughter Shannon-Starr Foster.
He is survived by daughters Robin Taylor and her partner Darrell Overmiller, Linda (Buffie) Foster-Campbell
Grandchildren Ryan Taylor, Ruby Taylor Smith and her husband Adam Smith, Jessy-Leigh Foster and Emerald McKinney and 7 great grandsons.
Brothers Tommy, Patrick and Vincent Toth and sisters Veronica Small, Linda LeBlanc and Anna Ridley.
A celebration of life will be held at a date and location to be announced later.
