Joseph R. Verrier, age 81 of Coventry, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Summit Commons in Providence. Born in West Warwick, RI, he was the son of the late Roland J. and Waneta M. (Bath) Verrier. For 36 years, he was the cherished husband of Rose M. (Palm) Verrier, who predeceased him in 2022.
From 1965 to 1967, Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. A real estate agent for many years, Joe then went on to be trained as a pipe fitter where he was a project manager at several places throughout his career until his retirement. Joe is survived by his children: Danielle R. Verrier and Joseph E. Verrier, both of Coventry, and Keith and Angela Verrier; and one brother: William Verrier. He was predeceased by two sisters: Ellen Gould and Ann Thomas.
Burial with military honors will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South Country Trail, Exeter.

So sad to read this. Joey is my cousin, my mom Mary is sister with his mom. His mom was a hoot! I believe he is the oldest cousin, I'm the baby, of 12 grandchildren. Looking at his picture, he didn't change at all, except a few gray.
RIP cousin, much love from California
