Joseph Robert Waldron

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Robert Waldron, who left us on January 2, 2025. Joseph was born on October 5, 1944, and lived a life dedicated to service, both to his country and his community.
Joseph was recently preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Caterina. He is survived by his two loving sons, Joseph-Paul and Sean, who will continue to honor his legacy.
A proud Marine, Joseph devoted more than 28 years of his life to the Marine Corps, exemplifying the values of honor, courage, and commitment. After his distinguished military career, retiring a Lieutenant Colonel, he continued to serve as a civil liberties lobbyist, advocating tirelessly for the rights and freedoms of all Americans.
Joseph's dedication, integrity, and unwavering sense of duty were an inspiration to all who knew him. His love for his family and his country defined his life, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Services will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 5200 Saufley Field Rd, Pensacola, FL 32526 with Father Chuck Collins officiating.
Interment will follow to Barrancas National Cemetery.
