Joseph W. Ward, Jr., a beloved husband, father, and skilled diesel mechanic, passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on August 15, 1967, in Freeport, NY to his parents Joseph and Priscilla Ward. Joseph embraced life with a kind and caring spirit that resonated deeply with those fortunate enough to know him.
His career as a diesel mechanic for Trius Municipal in Bohemia, NY, showcased not only his technical skills but also his dedication to service. Joseph took immense pride in his work, always striving for excellence and helping others along the way.
Joseph was cherished by his family, always putting their needs above his own. He leaves behind a loving wife, Teresa Ward, and five devoted sons: Joseph D. Ward, Justin C. Ward, Jason W. Ward, and Jonathan R. Ward. His legacy of love, respect, and commitment to family will undoubtedly live on through them.
A visitation to honor Joseph's life will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729.
Joseph W. Ward, Jr. will be remembered as a man who lived his life with kindness, a caring heart, and an unwavering devotion to his family. His presence will be sorely missed, but his memory will forever be cherished by all those whose lives he touched.
