Joseph Wenc Obituary
Cherished husband of Mary Wenc, wedded on May 17, 1958.
Beloved dad of Ray (Pam) Wenc of Lake Geneva, WI, Julie (Patrick) Martin of Capitola, CA, Dan (Dawn) Wenc of Joliet, IL and the late Jimmy Wenc. Adored grandpa of Nick Wenc and Mike Wenc. Dearest brother of Bob (Elaine) Wenc of Algonquin, IL and the late Dan (Dee) Wenc.
Ray enlisted into the US Army just after the Korean War ended. He worked for Continental Can Company as an engineer retiring after 40 years. Ray had been on the board of directors of his homeowner's association at Orleans of Naperville. While the children all were young, he was a coach to their various sports teams. His favorite hobbies were playing golf, having a great glass of scotch and being with his beautiful bride. Family and friends were his greatest joy. He was always happy and ready to show his love to his family.

Uncle Ray, you were the best! I always had fun with you and your family. Too many memories to count. You lived a full loving life and will be missed.

Ray and I first got to know each other by sitting side by side on equipment at cardiac rehab. In addition to exercise, we also became friends. One day he invited me to follow him home and meet his wife. I did and was pleased to be able to count both Ray and Mary as my friends. My condolences and love to Mary and the rest of their family. Looking forward to being with all of you on July 7. Sue Elliott
