Joseph Whitesell Obituary
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1964, he was the son of the late Robert and Sarah (née Grimes) Whitesell.
Joseph grew up in Upper Darby, PA. He met his wife, Teresa, at 15 years old, and they shared 32 years of marriage together.
Joseph was the owner and operator of J.P. Whitesell, LLC General Construction since 1985. He loved his work and was a mentor to many tradesmen. Joseph enjoyed listening to music, watching NASCAR, hanging out in the garage, and spending time with his family.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Teresa "Terry" (née Rickards) Whitesell; loving father of Jamie Whitesell, Nicole Whitesell, and Jillian Whitesell; adoring grandfather of Max Witmer; caring brother of Robert Whitesell, Theresa Angeline, Catherine Kobylarz, Maryanne Brown, James Whitesell, and Regina Buckley.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 8:30-10:30 AM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Fighting Back Scholarship Program, P.O. Box 141, 300 East King Street, Malvern, PA 19355, https://www.fightingbacksp.org/, would be appreciated.

Deeply saddened I couldn't attend the service.
Joe, Jimmy, and I were in good friends through elementary school.
