Joseph "Goob" Bruce Wright, 18, passed away on February 1, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was born on July 23, 2004 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to David Wright and Cody Ilett.
Joseph was a senior at Falcon High School and a proud member of the Falcon High School Space Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (SFJROTC).
Joe had an excitement for life. He lived everyday and never took it serious. From spending time with family to working on cars. He loved everything Space Force and military. "If you're not scared, your not going fast enough."
Joseph is survived by his parents, David Wright and Cody Ilett; sisters, Jasmyn, and Zane "Zoe" Wright; his grandparents; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation, 3:00PM-5:00PM, Monday, February 13, 2023, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.

He was by far one of the smartest people I have ever met and an amazing cousin to have I´m so glad I got the chance to have him in my life I remember when we would talk about space, tanks, rocket ships, jets and all the fun memories I had with the cousins he really was a blessing I will miss you buddy!

Joe saved my life in 2021. If he wasn't there to stop me, I probably would've ended my life a long time ago. He had a lot of rough issues, so I've been told, but he always had a smile on his face. So please, don't take life for granted. Cherish what you have now before it's gone. Rest in peace, Joseph.
