Josephine Alford Obituary
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Pamela Alford Lloyd; daughter-in-law, Beverly Alford; grandchildren: Ashlynn Alford, Alex Alford (Amber), Alexandra Kennedy, Abby Kennedy, Lawton Kennedy, Lisa Lee, Jennifer Reed; great grandchildren: Jessica, Kenzie, Livie, Rylee, Easton, Kolbie, Thomas; sister, Mary P. Price; bonus son, Dennis Hicks (Janice); numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Ruth Barham; special friends: Melba Harris, Margaret Swanson, Carolyn Richards.
In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Johnnie Howard Alford; son, Jeffrey Howard Alford; son-in-law, Thurston Lloyd; brothers: Luther Howard Perry, Roscoe Perry, Crocker Perry; sisters: Nora Buffaloe, Doris Hurt.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church, 8225 Mitchell Mill Rd, Zebulon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, December 15, 2025, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to anonymous charity that can be sent to Pam Lloyd at 4828 Zebulon Rd Zebulon, NC 27597.
