Josephine Barnes Obituary
Age 104 of St. Paul passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; daughter, Ellen Muehlegger; and sisters, Helen, Betty, and Irene "Babe". Josie will be dearly missed by her children, Judy (Dick) Parkin, Tom (Shirley), and Mary Larson; son-in-law, Joe Muehlegger; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Josie's family was very important to her, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid card player and she kept her mind sharp by keeping score well into her 90s.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday, November 25 at Church of, the Holy Childhood, 1435 Midway Parkway, St. Paul, with visitation beginning at 9:30am. Entombment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lyngblomsten Care Center.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Josie was such a strong and fun lady. Had so much fun playing cards with her over the years. So many laughs and also complaints about how terrible of a dealer I was. So happy that I got to know her. I will miss her saying, "I'm getting old." There was nothing better than a Josie giggle.
