Obituary
Josephine (Coppa) Colacone, 95 of Cranston passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Natale and Jenny (Calise) Coppa. She was the wife of the late Joseph Colacone, Jr.
She was always known for her impeccable appearance, never leaving the house without her makeup and hair just so, and the perfect jewelry to compliment the outfit. She always took great care of herself. She loved being with her grandkids, she enjoyed cooking one of her famous recipes for them. In the past, Josephine would often be found spending time at the family barn, admiring the horses.
She is survived by her loving children Deborah Pellegrino and her husband Federico, and Joseph Colacone, III and his wife Laura. She was the devoted grandmother of Kristina Fogarty and her husband Michael, Marisa Pellegrino, Amanda Pellegrino, Briana Colacone, and Julia Russell. She was the loving great grandmother of Jakson Peck, Oliver Bebe, and Willow Bebe. She was the predeceased by her siblings Concetta Schultheis, Angelina Macchioni, Katherine Laborio, Mary Anastasia, Domenic Capauno, and Frank Coppa.
Her funeral will leave at 9:00 am Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., with burial at St. Ann Cemetery. VISTING HOURS will be Monday from 4:00- 8:00 pm.
