August 11, 1958– May 6, 2025
Josephine Falzon, age 66, of Qormi, Malta, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in prayer.
Beloved wife of George Falzon for 48 wonderful years, Josephine was the heart of her family and a beacon of love, strength, and joy. She was the proud and devoted mother of Gilbert (Sandra) Falzon and Jacob (Ashley) Falzon, and the adoring nanna of Preston, Gavin, Jazmine, and her eagerly awaited granddaughter, Ruby Rae.
Josephine was one of four siblings including Saviour (Josette) Mifsud, Miriam (Joey) Bellizzi, and a cherished aunt to Freddy (Monica) Pace, Joseph (Jessica) Pace, Redeemer, Kurt, Abigail Mifsud, Tiziana, Jonathan Bellizzi, and many other nieces and nephews, brothers (in-laws) and sisters (in-laws) across Malta. She was also a dear sister-in-law to Frances (Michael) Pace, Sonia (Deo) Psaila, and Doris (Charles) Pisani, Manuel (Rita) Falzon, Sylvio (Josephine) Falzon and a treasured daughter-in-law to Antonia (Joseph) Falzon.
Her love for music—especially Celine Dion—was only matched by her deep devotion to her family. Josephine was strong-willed yet endlessly compassionate, a woman whose laugh could fill a room and whose touch could calm any storm. She was a warrior with the most generous heart, always putting others before herself and never missing a moment to offer a kind word or a helping hand.
She found joy in the simple pleasures—playing cards, traveling, and being with the ones she loved most. She was endlessly proud of her sons and shared a bond with her husband that was unshakable—a love that she never wanted to be without.
Josephine was taken from us too soon, but her spirit, love, and laughter will live on forever in our hearts. We will carry her memory with us always.
Visitation: Friday, May 9, 2025, 1:00–9:00 p.m.
Rosary Service: 6:00 p.m.
Location: The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Ford Chapel
Funeral Mass: Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
Location: St. Mary of the Annunciation, Rockwood
