Josephine Puchi Obituary
Josephine (Jo) Bachelier Puchi passed away on March 12, 2025. She was born December 21, 1929, in Nogales, Arizona to Marcel and Gregoria Bachelier, the first of 7 children.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband Joe and son, Rolando; granddaughter, Felicia Puchi; great grandson, Marcus; parents, Marcel and Gregoria; brothers, Marcel Jr., Paul and Luis; and sister, Dora.
She will be missed by her children; Joe Puchi Jr. (Candace), Elizabeth Puchi, Laurie Corella (Marco), and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Puchi. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Angela Jerde, Annie Puchi Seidel, Josepi Puchi, Laurie Graham, Luis, Marcel and Marco Corella, Rolando Jr., Elena and Mario Puchi and 13 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Early and Gregorie Snow.
Jo was busy as a homemaker, and she also assisted in the family’s business, J. Puchi Market for many years.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and entertaining for family and friends, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church at 272 N Rodriguez St. in Nogales, Arizona on Saturday March 29, 2025. Visitation starts at 1:00 pm, Rosary at 1:30 pm, followed by Mass.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any charity of your choice.
