Josefina Quintor, Age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 14, 2025. Born in Chavinda, Michoacan, Mexico on August 13, 1948. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. Josefina was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years Alfonso Quintor, who passed away in 2014. Also, preceded in death by her grandson Joshua Jones in 2013. Josefina is survived by her children Patricia Quintor-Juarez and Alfonso Quintor Jr., grandchildren Ryan Jones and Adam Quintor, granddaughter-in-law Chloe Jones, great grandchildren Joshua Jones and Quinten Jones, son-in-law Cyrus Juarez and many, many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Josephina was the youngest of 16 brother and sisters. She is survived by one brother Jose Cardenas. Josefina came from Mexico as a young child, grew up and attended school in Oakland, California. After marrying husband Alfonso, moved to San Leandro, California raised children Patricia and Alfonso Jr. In 1997 purchased her two-story dream home and moved with husband Alfonso to Tracy, California, where she has lived for 28 years. Josefina worked as a retail clerk for Safeway groceries store for 32 years and retired in 2008. She enjoyed working with the public. Josefina also loved to travel. She was a big sports fan, loved to cheer on her favorite teams, the Oakland A's, Oakland Raiders, Golden State Warriors and still cheered for them after they relocated, Win or Lose. Josefina was a devoted Catholic often praying the rosary for herself and anyone and all in need of prayers. She will be deeply missed by all and forever in our hearts.
