Joshua Dean Leon Applin, born on June 30, 1981, in Andrews, Texas, entered eternal rest on December 15, 2024, in Celebration, Florida. He was 43 years old.
Joshua is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Kristina Ashley Applin; his cherished daughters, Dakota Jane Applin and Mary Cheyenne Applin; his parents, Carl and Kathy Applin; and his sister, Micala Applin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister, Micah Applin.
A man of generous spirit and a kind heart, Joshua found immense joy in serving others. Whether preparing a meal to share or using his practical skills to help someone in need, he lived a life marked by compassion and selflessness. His willingness to lend a hand and his caring nature left a memorable mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Joshua’s life will be held on Saturday, December 21st, at New Caney Family Worship Center. Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by services at 10:00 a.m. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.
Joshua’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and those whose lives he touched with kindness and service. May the legacy of his love bring comfort to all who mourn his passing as we trust that he now rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord.
