I owe a debt to Kelly. After almost thirty years I assumed that my 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge was gone forever. I can´t describe the mix of emotions as I read the letter from Kelly asking if this was a car that I used to own. Over a year would pass before I would be I would travel to Norway to meet Kelly and purchase my lost car. The world is full people searching for a car they regret having sold, because of the efforts of Kelly, mine found me. People outside the hobby will not understand the sentimental connection to a car. Kelly understood how important this car could be for someone and did the work to locate me. For this I am grateful.
Over the years we enjoyed a friendship via text messaging. I would keep him updated on the car. At one point I asked him if maybe hearing about this car was painful for him and maybe he didn´t care to hear these details. He responded that he enjoyed our conversations and was pleased that he made it happen.
My condolences to all who loved him.
