Patricia Jean Ashcraft passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2025 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin with family by her side.

Patricia was born October 21st, 1951 in Sacramento, California to John Krizka and Joan Olson. She was the eldest of twelve children and helped care for her younger siblings. She loved to prank and joke and would have a lot of fun with her many brothers and sisters. She went to school at Maine East, Park Ridge, IL. After high school she gave birth to her only child, James William Ashcraft. He was the light of her life! She married Terry Joe Ashcraft in 1978 and they lived in Westmont, IL then made their way to Bolingbrook, IL. He preceded her in death in 1993. After his passing, Patricia and her son Jim, moved to Crystal Falls, MI and built a home on Swan Lake. She made her house a home.

She attended Joliet Junior College in 1983 and got a degree in Merchandising and Fashion Merchandising. Patricia was a very fashionable lady in both her style and home. Everything was just so, and she loved to switch up her personal and home styles quite often. She was an excellent homemaker and took special care to make sure her family was well taken care of. From cleaning to cooking, everything was done with love. She loved to host the holidays and many parties throughout the years. She made the best kolacki and hosted the best Christmases ever. She was the most fun and always greeted those who attended with her beautiful smile and her guests felt the love when they entered her home.

Patricia was a very patriotic woman and loved our country. She was involved with the Iron County Republican Committee as County Chairperson for almost 30 years. She stood up for what she believed in and never wavered, no matter what. Her political family will never forget her or her dedication to them and the important issues she held close to her heart. The 4th of July will never be the same without her and her patriotic spirit.

She was very strong in her faith. As a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church, she loved to attend church. She was a devout Catholic and took her religion seriously. She cleaned there for years and liked to make sure the church was as put together as her home.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Joe Ashcraft, her son, James William Ashcraft, her mother Joan Olson, her father John Krizka Sr., two brothers James Krizka and John Krizka and a sister Peggy Krizka and and her Aunt Edna Olson. I can imagine the reunion was a great one when Patricia made it there. She always used to say she hoped everyone was having a "big time," and I know they are enjoying this joyous reunion now.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Adelle Ashcraft grandchildren Victoria (Austin) Meise and James (Shealyn) Ashcraft, a great-grandson Warren James Meise, brothers Joseph (Margo) Krizka, Jerry (Marina) Krizka, Charlie Krizka and Tom Krizka, her sisters Joan (Frank) Zangara, Kris McArdle, Catherine Swanson and Jennifer (Brad) Toivonen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as friends throughout her lifetime.

The visitation for Patricia will be on September 2nd, at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls at 9:00 am, her funeral will be at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 11:00 am with internment at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
