Joshua Duane Canady 36, of Columbus, Georgia died August 13, 2021.  Joshua was the cherished firstborn son of Duane and Theresa Dickerson Canady, he was born on March 1, 1985 in Columbus, Georgia

Joshua's sister wrote, "You never really came back from that place you went to, but I know your next home will be better than this world. There's nothing in the Book that says you can't go, so I choose to believe I'll see you again when I get there.  I will always love you"

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather Lawrence Canady, and is survived by his parents Duane and Theresa, brothers, Nash Canady (Tiana), Destin Canady (Missy), sister Lacy Canady Seda (Armando), niece Layla Haney, grandfather Jimmy Dickerson (Cubi) grandmother Ginnie Dickerson,  and grandmother Joy Canady.  He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Services will be at Faith Worship Church, formerly Miller Road Sanctified Church, Columbus, Georgia, at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 19, 2021. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.
