Joshua T. Conery

Joshua Thomas Conery, 43, of Milford, NH, passed away at his home on October 16, 2025.

Born in Cambridge, MA, on April 28, 1982, he was the son of James A. Gay and Deborah (Dellinger) Russell. Joshua spent his childhood in Raymond, NH, and Woodsville, NH.

Joshua found great satisfaction in his career as a truck driver and equipment operator.

His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and warmth. He cherished playing dress up with his 6-year-old daughter and teaching his 9-year-old son to play the guitar. Joshua was also a guitarist in the band "SecondFace," considering his bandmates—Tom, Jack, and Jacob from Milford, Mike, Bill and Jay, as well as the late Mike—as part of his extended family. He deeply valued the band's supporters and friends from across the country.

Joshua is survived by his wife, Kandi Gaipo of Milford, NH; his beloved children, Simeon Gaipo-Conery and Jillian Gaipo-Conery of Milford, NH; his mother, Deborah Russell; his father, James Gay, and his wife, Theresa Gay; his father in law Ralph Washburn, and mother in-law Michelle Washburn; his siblings, Matthew Conery, Phillip Custance, Wendy Custance; his stepsister, Annemarie Drumheller; his siblings in-law, Kelly Belcher, Michael Washburn, and Johnathan Washburn; his chosen family members, Tracey Gaipo, Gino DeMambro, and David Gebo; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 30th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 1st, at 11:00 AM in the Smith & Heald funeral home. Information regarding the burial that will follow will be available from Joshua’s wife or parents during the wake.
