Joshua Gallegos Obituary
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022. Please contact a family member for the place of service.
Joshua was born Sunday, July 2, 1989 to Isaias Gallegos Jr. and Antonia Puente in Fort Myers, Florida. Joshua loved to help the community and would go help feed the homeless as much as he could. Joshua worked for CNC Home Health Care as a caretaker for six years. He enjoyed taking care of people after he left. When he worked at Red Carpet Car Wash, he enjoyed working there because he enjoyed talking to customers. Joshua loved going out with his friends, hanging out with his family all the time. He also loved amusement parks and would take everyone out to Six Flags and made sure they all had a really good time. He would also have bonfires in the back yard and would tell us all to come outside because he would go get all the stuff to make smores. We always talked and had the best of times and he was always so goofy when he was around and would make us all laugh and smile. Joshua was a fun, loving son, father, brother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Isaias Gallegos, Jr.; grandfather, Isaias Gallegos, Sr.; and grandfather, Richard Puente, Sr.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Zulaya Nayeli Gallegos; mother, Antonia Puente; brothers, Gabriel Gallegos, Dakota Gallegos, Dylan Newell, Sean Keith Newell, and Justin Newell; sister, Esmerelda Gallegos; step mom, Jacqueline Newell; grandmother, Trinadad Ramierez; grandmother, Emma Castro Gallegos; step grandfather, George Galaviz; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
